So, who am I?
I'm not trying to determine the type of identity I have nor trying to make a statement.
But before I talk about what i want to say, it's important to know who I am.
okay, So I'm 31 years old (2010) married, and have a 9 month old beautiful baby girl.
I'm a Doctor candidate at PSU in Curriculum and Instructions (let's try to graduate this year!)
I like to go by principles when I play games or so.
I like wold of warcraft, final fantasy, usually a lot of good graphic epic type of fantasy based RPG games.
I like to collect stuff like Anime figures, GI Joes, transformers, M.A.S.K, LEGO's....
actually I have a stack of all of them in my laundry room which i should try to display asap.
I like Japanese Anime, drama, tv shows, U.S tv dramas, or movies.
i like Manga too, usually sports related, or action related.
I like doing social networking being on facebook, twitter or Cyworld (korean type of facebook).
hmmm so for this is what i like to do and sort of who i am right now.
So what happens to me is that I go through random rotations of what I like and have enormous crave for some category that's mentioned above. when that crave hits, I usually go insane about it. So that's when i'm not a good dad, or husband or good doctor student.
well, right now my wife and kid are in S. Korea and I'm alone here at State College.
at first I thought I would crave for games or anime and go crazy about it, you know sleeping late, being a bit lazy about things, Pizza!!! or wings and bear!!!
However something a bit weird happened and I'm just starting to work out. My daughters first year birthday is coming up soon (20th of August but since we can't be in Korea that long we'll be celebrating it on the 31st of July) and it's a huge deal in Korea. People give you very expensive presents (like gold rings, or bracelets.) and see what my daughter is going to pick up, (sort of a signature to show what will she become later, e.g) book = scholar, money = CEO, etc). which could be nice and fun. thought I should be in shape when i'm taking those studio photos and stuff.
So basically what I'm doing is "Insanity" work out by Shaun-T, you know the ones you can see late at night on infomercials. I thought cardio is the best way to go to loose weight. I also practice baseball and basketball once a week, and play a both of them as a "team member" once a week each too. So my weekly schedule sort of looks like Mon to Sun Insanity every morning except for Sat. Every Tuesday evening, basketball one on one lessons, every Wednesday evening, baseball practice, every Saturday afternoons I'm playing baseball and that evening basketball.
between that I'm finding time to work on my comps my readings and writings...sort of should be all the way around, find time to tweet and facebook, and write on my blog.
so far it's been around a month, lost around 15 pounds, still need to loose twice as more to get to my "comfortable weight."
so it is really weird, and not me to find my crave on working out. However my wife loves it that i'm getting back (?) into shape.
so let's see how long and how well this craving will go.
